Privacy policy

What we collect

When you use the contact or volunteer form we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to tell us. We do not collect payment card details on this site.

Why we hold it

To reply to you, and to run the volunteer programme. We do not sell it and we do not share it with anyone outside the foundation except where the law requires it.

Where it is stored

Submissions are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and copied to the foundation’s email. We keep contact enquiries for two years and volunteer applications for three, then delete them. Only the staff who need them can open them, which in practice means the Executive Director and the Volunteer Coordinator.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without building a profile of you.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@nuvantafoundation.org and we will reply within thirty days. There is nothing to pay, and you do not have to give us a reason.

Children

We photograph a child only with the written permission of a parent or guardian and of the school, and we ask the child as well. That permission can be withdrawn at any time. If you ask us to take a photograph down we will do it without asking you to justify the request. No child is named alongside their photograph, and we do not publish anything that identifies which school a particular child attends. Our content system will not publish an image of an identifiable person unless consent has been recorded against it first.
