Give your time
A session needs a facilitator, somebody to translate, a driver, and two people to set up a hall. Most volunteers start with one Saturday.
Give your skill
Midwives, nurses, teachers and counsellors change what a session can cover. So do people who can design a handout or keep a spreadsheet honest.
Open a door
The hardest part of this work is being invited in. An introduction to a school, a clinic, a church or a mosque is worth more to us than a donation.

Partner
For organisations and businesses
Schools, clinics, churches, mosques and companies all work with us in different ways.
A partnership here is a working arrangement rather than a logo exchange. A school gives us a named contact, a room, and the timetable slot to use it. A clinic sends somebody clinical to sit in on the sessions and takes the referrals that come out of them. A company gives money, or paid hours its staff can spend helping run a session. In return we commit to what is coming, how often, and for how long, and we put it in writing before anything is announced.
Most agreements run for a school year, because that is the unit the work is measured in and it is long enough to tell whether something is working. At the end of every term the partner gets a short report: what was delivered, what changed, and what did not go to plan. Partners who are happy to be named are listed on this page once they have given permission, and the ones who would rather not be are just as welcome.
